Florence Music Institute


 
A project based upon a derelict grade 2 listed building within Liverpool, The Florence institute, located in the Dingle district. The project was to find a new purpose for the building, while keeping to grade 2 regulations. This project was one of 3 final year project in which i received a 90% mark. The brief indicated one large room to be created within the building, I chose to design the whole building to accommodate my design a music hub for the community. Since this project was completed The Florence building has now been redeveloped. Below is an example of a design page from my portfolio explaining how one room can change function:
